    • Lead backup implementation engineer responsible for the installation and migration of their legacy HP Data Protector backup solution to a new EMC NetWorker environment leveraging deduplication, backup-to-disk, NDMP, VADP, and scheduled cloning.
    • Reduced backup windows for their large file systems from almost a week to a day and for VMware virtual machines from several hours to minutes.
    • Greatly increased backup success rates by reducing overall tape usage and eliminating it altogether from the primary backup process.

    • Lead VMware technician tasked with upgrading and expanding their VMware environment to provide greater computing resources and increased resiliency.
    • Uncovered an architectural flaw that could have compromised the security of the IT environment and worked diligently with the client to brainstorm and execute a solution with minimal downtime.

    Local Business
    • Designed and implemented a new VMware environment using a mix of pre-existing and new hardware. Leveraged VMware features and NetApp integration to create a truly unified solution spanning the United States.
    • Worked with the administrative team to harden the virtual infrastructure and helped enact various security processes and procedures in order to be SOC-2 compliant and certified.
