  • ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups that serve as a resource for members and organizations by fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with organizational mission, values, goals, business practices, and objectives. The focus of this committee will be to engage and connect ERG leaders across companies, industries, demographics and regions to share ideas and practices while learning how to spread diversity and inclusion.

  • The Women in NAAAP (WIN) Committee's vision is to empower, support and engage Asian American women to succeed as professional and personal leaders as well as contributing to their communities and cultures. WIN is a special program created and developed to build competent and confident women leaders within NAAAP and the Asian Pacific community. Some of its programs includes the Lean-in Circle, women-focused workshops and social events.

  • The Training & Development Committee is committed to the growth of NAAAP leaders. We design leadership training materials and resources and also plan four leadership development opportunities including two operations meetings and two leadership retreats annually. In addition, we organize orientation and onboarding to welcome all new leaders. We are looking forward to creating more approaches to advance important leadership skills.

  • Corporate Relations Committee is primarily responsible for the funding of NAAAP Boston’s activities/programming.  We build new corporate development and maintain existing account management activities through working with other NAAAP Boston Committees. We design and develop programs by leveraging NAAAP resources that align with our Sponsor’s diversity and inclusion goals and meet their business needs.

  • The Scholarship Committee is responsible for administering the Future Leader Award, an Asian American leadership scholarship recognizing high school students who are aspiring leaders in their communities. The scholarship was founded in 1987 out of a grassroots effort by community members – the Committee has offered scholarships every year since then.     The Scholarship Committee is responsible for administering the Future Leader Award, an Asian American leadership scholarship recognizing high school students who are aspiring leaders in their communities. The scholarship was founded in 1987 out of a grassroots effort by community members – the Committee has offered scholarships every year since then. The Scholarship Committee prioritizes candidates with demonstrated financial need and evaluates these candidates on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community service, and leadership related experiences.

  • The Technology committee provides the organization with the tools and data to enhance collaboration and execute tasks more efficiently. We also manage the website which is the source of membership, events and job management. We provide the necessary training for leaders and work with Training and Development to provide technology training materials during onboarding.   • The Professional Development Committee is focused on helping individuals develop necessary skills for career advancement and leadership development through action-learning workshops, seminars and conferences. Some of its programs include Toastmasters Club, Career Success Conference Series and Professional Development Workshop Series.
